RULES

— This is an 18+ only, NSFW event.
— All participants must be registered for this event in order to submit to the 2022 MDZS Smut Roulette AO3 collection.
— All fic submissions should be done through AO3. Art submissions may be made on Twitter or Tumblr with the event tagged, or to the AO3 collection.
— Participants will spin the prompt wheel prior to sign-up. Once they have signed up, you will submit what prompt you receive. Wheel spins are done on the honor system! For prompts, you may choose to select only the prompts you want to fill out the wheel, but please only give it a single spin! The character and trope wheels are optional, if you want to add a little more chaos to the event!
— All ships and dynamics are welcome.
— Ships including underage characters in a sexual context are not allowed.
— Event communication will primarily occur on Discord.
— You are invited to join the Discord server, but it is not required.
— If you are unable to make the submission date, please contact a mod as soon as you are aware that you will be unable to make the date. A mod will be in contact with you regarding an extension.

How do I sign up?

Not at all! We trust you to have a plan and keep your own schedule. Just make sure a rough draft of your fic has been completed, and your first chapter is ready to go by posting!Can I publish my fic before the event date?
Fics can be added to the collection before the final date, but will remain unrevealed until the collection reveal date.Do I need to be 18 or older?
This is a smut event and is inherently NSFW. Therefore, we are only allowing participants who are 18 and up.How many times may I spin the wheel?
The prompt wheel should only be spun once! That’s the fun of the event—leaving a bit up to chance! You will be able to opt in or out of prompts prior to spinning so you won’t have a prompt that you are uncomfortable with. Character and trope wheels can be spun as many times as you desire, to incorporate as many characters and tropes as you like.Will we be able to pick characters/pairings?
Yes! Absolutely! The only wheel you're required to spin is either the sugar or spice prompt wheel.What if I have a trigger/squick that I don't want to write?
You are in no way required to write about them! Our wheels are customizable so you simply select the prompts that interest you. When you're done, just sit back, relax, and then let fate take the wheel!May I create more than one piece
Absolutely!!Does the story have to be stand-alone?
You may write a sequel/prequel, but the story should be able to be read on its own and should have been created for the event.What is the minimum word count?
The minimum word count for MDZS Smut Roulette will be 1,500 words! However, you are free to make this as long as you want!!What are the art minimum requirements?
To try and match the minimum word count requirement, we ask that artists provide a clean sketch. If you would like to participate as an artist via other methods (playlist creation, video creation, etc.) please reach out with any questions, including minimums!How do I submit my art?
